Watch: Mom secretly breastfeeds on TV and nearly gets away with it

Here's to multi-tasking moms everywhere!
A busy single mom, Rachel Sklar is used to having to juggle (at least) ten things at once. So when she was contacted last week by TV show CBC News Now for an interview, the "cultural commentator" and founder of TheLi.st ("a network and visibility platform for professional women") readily agreed -- despite the fact that she'd be caring for her 10-month-old daughter Ruby at the time.
The interview, a discussion on Barbie's recent makeover and gender stereotypes, went off without a hitch. It wasn't until the very end, when the host was signing off, that viewers realized Rachel had been breastfeeding the entire time. It looks like little Ruby was intent on getting in the picture, too!
Rachel says she's received a lot of positive feedback from other moms since sharing the video via social media. I can understand why: Not only is Ruby's surprise appearance hilariously adorable, it's also a pretty powerful contribution to the campaign to normalize breastfeeding.
After all, there she was, an articulate and knowledgeable woman, perfectly able to express her opinions and take part in a conversation -- all while having her baby at her breast.
