Weaning a boob-obsessed toddler" It's good to have a plan

My youngest is nearly 20 months old and it's time: Our breastfeeding journey will soon be coming to an end.
In my experience, weaning is never easy, but I have a feeling this time will be extra hard. My two older children were weaned by 15 months, so this whole 20-month business is completely new territory for me. It doesn't help, either, that out of my three kids, my youngest is by far the most boob-obsessed, Recently, I had returned home after being away for a few hours. It was bedtime, and when I walked into the living room, my girlie's eyes lit up, she started prancing around and chanted,"Boo-bie, boo-bie, boo-bie!"
Screw mama. She was thrilled to finally be reunited with her boobie. Yeah. So I'm kinda dreading the weaning process this time around. But here's how I'm tackling it:
Phase 1
Over the past couple of months, I've been gradually cutting back on the number of daytime feedings. Instead of nursing her on demand, I've tried to limit breastfeeding to nap time and bedtime. This has entailed distracting her when she's acting like wants to nurse. Admittedly, my breasts took a little bit to adjust their supply (and it was uncomfortable at first,) but now it's fine. Which brings me to ...
Phase 2
It's time to cut another feeding. For us, that means nixing the boob session right before her afternoon nap. Again, for us it's a matter of distraction. (And sometimes, driving around in the car for her to fall asleep.) I'...
