What it really looks like when moms take a trip to Vegas

I just got back from Vegas and I feel so well-rested.
Said no one ever.
(Except, I DO!)
Like many of you, I did Vegas in my twenties and early thirties and it was a complete blur. Full of epic tales, life-sized drinks and no sleep whatsoever. I remember barely making flights home and wearing sunglasses in the airport to dull the lights, which were KILLING my head. I remember carrying on a gallon of water once because I realized I had not had a single glass of water in three days. Ouch.
So when my girlfriends and I planned a long weekend in Vegas, I imagined the outcome would be much the same. So much fun. So much excess. So little sleep. But once we got there we realized none of us were craving that AT ALL. What we were craving" Relaxation. Sleep. Good Food. And a tiny bit of excitement (But before 10 p.m., please). Check out how we did Vegas "mom" style:
The first thing we did was take eleventy billion pictures of ourselves with this chandelier. In fact we walked past four bars and a full casino to get to these magnificent things. All three of us love decorating our homes and especially love lighting so we bypassed all things Vegas and took pictures of ourselves with a chandelier. (Just wait, it gets even more exciting...)
The main thing we excelled at early on was napping. We had all gotten up really early to fly in, so it seemed most logical to settle in for a 1 p.m. nap. Zzzzzzzzzz...
And then again, with a change of sce...
