What "old-school" parenting practices will our kids call us out for"

Parenting will most certainly change when we are grandmothers, but how"
Just think of all the things you do now that your own parents would have done completely differently when raising you. I don't think my parents ever even owned a children's car seat. Our moms put us all to sleep on our tummies or sides. We sat in walkers all day long and were given spoonfuls of rice cereal at a very young age. Whiskey rubbed on our gums solved our teething issues, and Red 40 was basically a food group.
Parenting changes so quickly, and it seems like the recommendations change quickly too. Have you ever thought about the things we will one day tell our children to do that will be completely wrong by their standards" How many times will our own children say to us "No, mom, they don't do it that way anymore. It isn't safe!"" The moms in this recent Babycenter community post contemplated just that question, and I wonder how true the answers will be. We will have to stay tuned for the next 15-30 years or so to find out.
How parenting will change when we are grandmothers:
1. I feel like this one might be right, especially as the internet landscape changes over the next decade.
2. With the income gap shrinking between men and women, I can see the day that women will get proper paid maternity leave. I'm not sure it will be in the next decade, but I feel hopeful.
