Way back in 2002, I became obsessed with a little show called American Idol. OBSESSED! In fact, my then boyfriend/now husband, even entered me into a contest to win a trip to the finale, which we won. So when Kelly Clarkson was crowned the winner, we were there.
As a singer myself, I loved the idea of an "average Joe" showcasing their talents. Apparently, so did everyone else as then all the other shows like America's Got Talent, The Voice, and So You Think You Can Dance took off.
When I first saw the trailer for the upcoming animated movie, SING!, I took notice. So did my kids. I can't begin to tell you how many times we've watched this trailer.
