Whoa, baby! Mom delivers almost-14 lb. newborn -- naturally!

Brian Liddle Junior may be a newborn, but he's already a record holder: At a whopping 13 pounds, 5 ounces, he is the biggest baby ever to be born at Mercy Hospital for Women outside of Melbourne, and is among the heaviest infants on record in all of Australia.
Even more incredible than that" His heroic mom, Natashia Corrigan, delivered her big boy vaginally, without the aid of an epidural. All she had to rely on throughout the 7-hour labor was a little laughing gas -- and her own determination.
Brian Jr. is the third child for Natashia and her husband Brian. Her first two babies, both girls, were well within the normal weight range: One weighed 8 pounds, 4 ounces, and the other was 7 pounds, 12 ounces. The couple knew that baby #3 would be a bit bigger -- doctors expected he could tip the scales at around 11 pounds. When he finally arrived, at 40 weeks and 5 days, Natashia says she couldn't believe the size of him. Read this: Photos: Watch as this incredible birth story unfolds
"I truly don't know what to say! Brian & I are overwhelmed with all of the visits, calls, messages, posts, comments and tags of well wishes from literally everyone!" she posted on Facebook shortly after the birth. "I never dreamed he'd be this big, thought he'd be an 11 pounder at the max! But we were blessed with a safe delivery of a 13.5 pounder! I'm still in shock!"
To put an almost 14-pound baby in perspective, consider this...
