Why Tyra Banks gave up driving for motherhood

It?s no secret that when you become a mom your entire life changes in the blink of an eye. For Supermodel and entrepreneur Tyra Banks, motherhood has meant giving up driving.
The new mom told E! News she?s given up driving since she and boyfriend Erik Alsa welcomed their son York via gestational surrogate in January.
"Some mornings you wake up, and you're like, 'Where am I" I don't know what's going on. And I know it's not a good idea for me to drive right now because I did not sleep,'" she said.
She went on to say that the couple shares parenting responsibilities and has worked out a routine that works for them.
"So I balance that and his dad helps, and we go back and forth so that's good. Erik does about 40 per cent diaper duty at night. So we're almost 50-50," she told E! News. I can certainly relate to her situation in some ways. There is a long list of things we often give up when we become parents. Here are a few common things some moms sacrifice, including me.
Sleep. I can?t remember the last time I had a good night's sleep. Even though our 5-year-old and 2-year-old sleep through the night, they?re usually up at the crack of dawn vying for our attention.
Hygiene. There?ve been times when I?d get so wrapped up with taking care of the kids and everything else around the house that I?d go the entire day without taking a shower. I?ve also been guilty of neglecting to wash my hair for weeks at a time.
