Wish I knew that: parenting hacks for newborns, infants, and toddlers

Kids don't come with a manual and we all know that veteran parents have untapped wisdom to pass along to new recruits. That's why BabyCenter teamed up with JOHNSON'S Baby for a Facebook Live event focusing on what experienced parents know that can help moms and dads currently struggling with parenting problems. Feeding, sleeping, bath time: you name it, there's a hack for that!
We turned to our BabyCenter moms, community members and bloggers to help with our tips. Take a look and see if they provide solutions to some of your top parenting predicaments.
We can certainly relate to the tips we heard on the LIVE. Our favorite is "The smaller the child, the bigger the plate." Why do we tend to give little kids teeny plates. That just means more crumbs everywhere else! One FB Live viewer mentioned having a baby who hates the bath. The key to giving infants happy baths is making sure they don't get cold. You can try the towel trick from the video above, or simply crank up the heat a bit in the bathroom and make sure you're washing one little body part at a time.
When bathing a newborn, it also helps to have both parents on deck so it goes more quickly.
