When you're pregnant and an artist it's hard not to create. Get an email explaining your baby is currently the size of a poppyseed and you might be tempted to add a bee into a painting of it... or add a ladybug next to a sesame seed, or paint a squirrel next to a lemon.
Those aren't just random examples, they're exactly what one mom who recently shared her work with BabyCentre UK has been doing. Take a look...

Week 4: Baby is the size of a poppyseed with bee.

Week 5: Baby is the size of a sesame seed with ladybug.

Week 7: Baby is the size of a blueberry with bird.
"The fruit and veg pictures were a great way to follow my pregnancy first time around, so I thought this time I would take inspiration from that and do my own series," artist Rosie Peacocke explained. "The sketches are of the different fruit and veg, like the BabyCentre app, but with accompanying animal friends!"
Week 10: Baby is the size of a green olive with mole.

Week 11: Baby is the size of a fig with duckling.
Rosie squeezes in time to paint while her firstborn, son Arthur, is napping or in the evenings. She plans to continue this series throughout her second pregnancy.

Week 14: Baby is as long as a pea pod with frog.

Week 14: Baby is the size of a lemon with squirrel.
