There?s tons to do during the summer at the Toronto Zoo, from the Gorilla Climb Ropes Course to Splash Island. But this year, visitors will get to see some baby animals, including an Indian rhino calf, a polar bear cub, lion cubs and the ridiculously adorable giant panda cubs. Cuteness galore! Your family can also spend Canada Day with the Canadian animals at the zoo. Kids can pick up an Xplorers Booklet, which includes fun activities that help kids discover the Canadian creatures at the zoo, at the Parks Canada Front Courtyard Kiosk. 2. Pets and Me: Explore, Imagine, Create
At the Art Gallery of Ontario?s Kids? Gallery, your little ones can learn about art while having fun. The Pets and Me exhibition is all about discovering pets from the past?cats and dogs and rabbits, oh my! Families can spend the afternoon checking out the photographs, paintings and sculptures, and kids can try their hand at drawing their own pets (real or imaginary) at the drawing station.
