5 strategies for remote GCSE success

Here are 5 key things your child can do to get ahead of the game.
1. Impress their teacher
Whatever stage of their education (but particularly for Year 10 and above), teacher assessment is going to be important. Whether that?s simply for tracking their progress, or whether it will determine their grade, it counts. Teachers will need all the evidence they can get in order to make those assessments, so the best thing your child can do is impress them. Doing additional revision" Send them a copy of your notes. Made a mindmap to link together the key topics for a subject" Email them a picture. Remote lessons" Show up, ask questions, and be visibly engaged with the work.
2. Embrace past papers
At the time of writing, the ?exams? situation for 2021 is still undecided, however, it?s been made clear that exams would not be happening as usual. That might have led your child to think that past papers are no longer a good use of their time, but that?s simply not true.
