The Ampersand Hotel has launched a new Jurassic Afternoon Tea which promises the perfect treat for both children and adults alike (there are cocktails!). With its close proximity to the Exhibition Road museums, The Ampersand Hotel in South Kensington has historically always taken inspiration from its neighbourhood.
The Ampersand Hotel’s Jurassic-themed tea takes its cue from the time dinosaurs roamed the earth over 200 million years ago. Alongside savoury treats such as Mini hot dogs, T-Rex cheese straws, Dinosaur jam sandwiches and homemade scones, expect a Raspberry & lemon crémeux volcano eruption, a Dark chocolate & caramel dinosaur egg nest, a Mixed berries T-Rex footprint macaron, a White chocolate & blackcurrant Jurassic mountain mousse and a Mini dinosaur biscuit & milk chocolate fossil. Vegetarian and gluten-free versions of all tea sets are also available.
