If you watched Robert Kelly’s BBC interview (who didn’t"!) and wondered if a mom might have handled it differently, we can shed some light on that for you. Jono and Ben, a hilarious satirical news duo from New Zealand, have created a spoof video showing what would have happened had the roles been reversed.
In the parody, the mom is the one being interviewed. When her toddler daughter walks in, she instinctively and seamlessly pulls the young girl onto her lap and begins to bottle-feed her. Not skipping a beat during her interview in true supermom fashion, she then occupies her baby who comes strolling into the room in a baby walker. She even checks on dinner and steams a shirt, in true multitasking-mom style.

No shade to Robert, the O.G. of handling live interview malfunctions. We’re still super impressed that he remained calm and collected while his kids were corralled in the background. But we just love this hilarious parody of the situation, which is what life as a mom actually feels like most of the time. Whew! Now let’s go find that sock!
