On Friday 27th May just before half term Benenden School ? which educated HRH The Princess Royal ? enjoyed a whole School street party in honour of The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
Benenden?s central green was awash with red, white and blue as hundreds of students and staff enjoyed a Jubilee party on the final afternoon before Half Term. 
Her Majesty The Queen is the illustrious boarding school?s most famous former parent, having chosen Benenden School to educate her daughter, HRH The Princess Royal, in the 1960s. The School is honoured that HRH The Princess Royal is now the School?s Founders Patron and President of The Benenden Society. 
The School?s celebration was held the week before the nation?s formal Jubilee events due to the Half Term break.  With the Union Flag flying above the School buildings and, fittingly, the sun shining strongly, the School enjoyed a delicious barbecue thanks to Benenden?s catering team, with the Headmistress helping to serve the cake. 

Headmistress Samantha Price said:??We are incredibly proud of our association with the Royal Family and we would like to congratulate Her Majesty on her magnificent 70-year reign. As a girls? school we regularly aim to inspire our students with strong female role models and I can think of no better example than Her Majesty to inspire the next generation of young women.
