Bonpoint SS17 at Paris Couture Week
Hôtel de Brancas in Paris was transformed into a bucolic secret garden yesterday as French children’s clothing brand Bonpoint unveiled its stunning SS17 collection at Paris Couture Week, and Little London was there to watch the magic unfold.
Guests looked on as the setting, heady with the scent of white jasmine and the sound of rustling leaves, bird song and laughing children, saw an adorable army of little ones skip down the runway in a multitude of nature-inspired prints, bright hues and floral adornments.
Creative director Christine Innamorato took inspiration from the likes of film director Wes Anderson ? who is known for his distinctive cinematic visuals ? and his enchanting film Moonrise Kingdom for the collection.  Jane Campion’s romantic film drama based on the life of poet John Keats, Bright Star, was also an influence, alongside Italian photographer Massimo Vitali’s colourful images of crowds and beaches.
The result was a beautifully sunny range of pieces, including pretty peter-pan collared dresses, whimsical embroidery, floral crowns and straw boater hats.
