David Beckham has been named as Britain’s coolest celebrity dad, in a survey by new male grooming brand Grüum to celebrate Father’s Day this weekend. The father of four to 18-year-old Brooklyn, Romeo, 14, Cruz, 12 and Harper, five, received almost a quarter of the public vote, notably for his ever-evolving look, his ability to pull off even the most questionable of hairstyles (remember the mohawk") and the fact he doesn’t take himself too seriously. He’s not afraid to play the role of ’embarrassing dad’ either, as we saw from his recent trolling on son Brooklyn’s Instagram. “There’s not really a one-size-fits-all definition when it comes to being cool ? it’s more about the way you look; ironic as it is, there really is nothing more uncool than someone who’s trying too hard. It’s about being effortless, and comfortable in your own skin,” says Beth Sleigh of Grüum.
Beckham was a hit among youngsters, too, with 38% of 18 to 24 year olds giving him their vote.
