The landmark hotel is located in the historic heart of Cambridge, overlooking Parker?s Piece. First opened in 1834, the quintessentially English hotel reopened in 2018 after a two year, £80m transformation. It is now home to 192 beautiful rooms and suites. Each suite is complete with a private library curated by Heywood Hill, helping to retain a classically Cambridge feel.

Many on the top floor have access to private balconies overlooking Parker?s Piece, with bathrooms located inside the original domed turrets. The refurbishment was headed up by classical architect John Simpson and interior designer Martin Brudnizki. The hotel is situated in the centre of town and walking distance from most hotspots. Visitors can stroll around the city?s historic sites, meander along The Backs and hire a private punt on the majestic River Cam.
