Fossil-hunting walks
Going fossil hunting on the beach with Charmouth Heritage Coast Centre in West Dorset is a truly immersive experience. For the next hour or two, you work together as a family trying to find and identify the specimens. It?s possible to find more than a hundred fossils during your time on the beach, and unlike most world heritage sites, you?re allowed to take your little Jurassic treasures home.
