Exeter School Announces Students’ Oxbridge Offers
Exeter School has announced that seven current and former pupils have been offered places at Oxbridge colleges this year. Â
This year?s candidates include five current, and two former pupils of Exeter School who all completed the admissions process this year. Six of the candidates have been offered places at Oxford University and one at Cambridge University.Â
The Exeter School pupils that have been offered Oxbridge places
Alumna Rose Sail, who left the school in 2021, has been offered an unconditional place at Girton College, Cambridge, to study geography. She joined the school aged 11 and said how much the designated Oxbridge programme at Exeter School had supported her through the application process. Â
Previous student of Exeter School has received an unconditional offer to study at Cambridge. ?The school has inspired me with the high quality of teaching. Our geography teachers are particularly engaging and always made their lessons interesting. Additionally, the field trips helped us to understand the subject and bring them to life.?Â
Meanwhile, fellow 2021 alumnus Oscar Cobb will be heading to New College, Oxford to read biology.
He joined the school in 2014 and said of his experience: ?The staff give far more than is expected and genuinely want you to succeed.
