From September 2022, Falcons Prep Richmond will be opening its doors to children aged 3+ as we launch our onsite Nursery, The Nest.   The Nursery aims to build on the already huge success of our current Reception and Early Years provision.
As an extension of the current Early Years offering at Falcons Prep Richmond, boys will be joined by a cohort of girls forming a class of up to 12 children with access to outstanding indoor and outdoor facilities.
The new Nest pupils will have access to Falcons Prep?s excellent facilities which include the Astro, Science lab, Innovation Hub, the use of the Richmond Rugby Ground for games and PE and the Forest School site ?Tumbledown Woods?. Children in the Nest will also be taught by specialist staff teaching French, Art, PE, Music and Forest School.
Being onsite and central within the school’s physical structure, children in the Early Years will have regular opportunities to interact with boys from the Middle and Upper School, giving them positive role models from our diverse community and supporting their transition as they move up the school.
Their days will be varied and exciting with a balance of both free-flow, adult-led and child-initiated activities. Their time will also be filled with extended periods to interact with each other and highly trained members of staff in specially designed and carefully resourced learning spaces.
