As summer turns to fall, it?s time to think about back-at-school prep. Be ready for school snack time with a list of fun and easy, but deliciously wholesome snacks. Your kids will love these creative ideas!
Make-your-own trail mix
A new twist on an old favourite! Perfect for kids? parties, movie night or lunch snacks, simply combine Goldfish® Colours, Pretzel Goldfish®, along with mixed dried fruit and white chocolate pieces.
Wings for your child?s lunch box
Create a butterfly body using a clothespin: glue on googly eyes and colourful pipe cleaner antennae. Then fill a medium-sized re-sealable clear plastic bag with snacks; on one side add your child?s favourite flavour of Goldfish® and on the other their favourite fruit. Try grapes or any type of berries. Scrunch the bag in the middle and open the clothespin to affix the center of the bag into the open clothespin. Voila! Healthy snacks in a butterfly creation! Use kitchen scissors to create a small opening in a mini, whole wheat pita, then stuff with shredded lettuce, carrots and slices of cherry or grape tomatoes. Pack hummus, tzatziki, yogurt or guacamole for dipping.
