June Reading List
Today I was out and about with a book, which is not an uncommon occurrence. I read quite often in public, and even more frequently at home. Nothing makes my happier than having my face buried in a book, under a blanket with a glass of wine. Or outside in the sun depending on the season.
To clarify I mean a real book made of paper not an electronic device. I prefer books because they feel better, and I have a much easier time reading outside with a paper book, the glare on electronic devices is too much. The blanket is homemade and the wine is white, just so that you get the full picture.
Anyway, while I was out reading I struck up a few conversations with random strangers about books. While I was making recommendations and receiving them, I thought that maybe my blog readers would be interested in what I was reading. I am on Goodreads if you want to follow me click here. I will also be doing a monthly reading list if you would like to follow along. I am going to go ahead and say that I am a well-rounded reader. I do not fall for one particular genre. I read a combination or fiction and non-fiction, Canadian and International authors, historically and post-Apocalyptic fiction, and business and self-help books. I do however draw the line at romance novels and sci-fi/fantasy unless its Margret Atwood then I might let it slide.
