By now, you’ve probably heard that Kim Kardashian and her husband of three years, Kanye West, are expecting their third child together via surrogate.
The couple confirmed the news in late September as surrogacy rumours were flying around. Since then, the reality star has taken a lot of abuse over social media, accused of taking “the easy way out” by using a surrogate to carry her baby. But it should be known that this wasn’t driven by vanity?surrogacy isn’t a “fallback plan” so Kim can keep her figure intact.
In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Kim got candid about her surrogacy journey thus far, and how much harder it is for her than pregnancy.
“You know, it is really different,” the reality star said. “Anyone that says or thinks it is just the easy way out is just completely wrong. I think it is so much harder to go through it this way, because you are not really in control. And, you know, obviously you pick someone that you completely trust and that you have a good bond and relationship with, but it is still…knowing that I was able to carry my first two babies and not, you know, my baby now, it’s hard for me.
