The Blue Coat School, Birmingham is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr Noel Neeson as Headmaster in September 2016
Educated at Notre Dame High in Glasgow before reading Maths at his native city?s university, Noel was the youngest head in the country, appointed at the age of 28. He rejuvenated a struggling school in the Midlands before moving on to a headship at St. Peter?s Prep School in Lympstone, Devon.
Noel has a passion for Teaching and Assessment and his St. Peter?s Baccalaureate programme has transformed how teachers teach and children think. The Baccalaureate rewards courage, promotes very high expectations for all, no matter where their starting point, and has caught the eye of many nationwide. It will undoubtedly complement the rounded curriculum in which Blue Coat pupils currently thrive, not only equipping them with an educational award but also preparing them with life skills for today?s modern world. As a keen sportsman, Noel will be sure to turn his eye to Blue Coat?s sports provision, but this will be just one part of Blue Coat?s broad offering.
