Numbers in Year 3 at Highfield and Brookham Schools at a Five-Year High

Independent schools have faced a huge amount of financial and political pressure over the last few years and particularly in the last few months during the global pandemic. The Independent Schools Council reported in their 2020 Census and Annual Report that there has been a 2.5% decrease in the number of pupils in ISC schools in Year 3 and below since 2015.
However, Highfield and Brookham Schools appear to be bucking this downwards trend and have seen a healthy 26.3% rise in numbers of pupils in Year 3 from September 2015 to September 2020. And Year 3 is not the only year group looking strong for September 2020; Nursery, Year 5 and Year 8 are all above average as well. While numbers in other year groups remain steady.
