Ones to Watch: March 2022
From digital experts to artists, here are some of the private school alumni now making a name for themselves in their chosen fields

Crystal Eisinger, 32
Godolphin and Latymer School
Chief Executive Officer at Keakie
Last summer I joined start-up, Keakie ? a new music streaming platform ? as their CEO, after nearly six years at Google. I?ve always been equally interested in the creative and commercial sides of business and in driving organisational change in global, fast moving companies.
My time at school was the springboard for everything I?ve gone on to achieve: they taught us that we can be whoever we want to be and it continues to nurture strong, independent young women. I took a gap year with a place on the Deloitte Scholars? Scheme before studying History and Politics at Cambridge. I was so proud to be named one of Forbes? 30 under 30 and am passionate about helping to shape the leaders of tomorrow; a real career highlight has been launching my old school?s Changemaker leadership programme.
Dr Becky Smethurst, 32
Bolton Girls’ Division, Greater Manchester
Astrophysicist
I?m currently studying supermassive black holes and their effects on galaxies. I?m also very enthusiastic about science communication; trying to clearly explain to the public some of the wonders of my subject. You?ll find me frequently appearing on national TV and radio, explaining the latest space related news stories to the public.
