The school?s close proximity to many major forests and woodlands allows children from nursery all the way through to age eighteen to take part in extensive outdoor education lessons. Nursery and Prep children enjoy weekly ?forest school? sessions as part of their main curriculum, the children learn how to identify different types of plants and insects as well as partaking in fun activities such as den building.
Climbing is another popular activity, climbing takes place for all year groups throughout the year, at a number of local climbing walls, and then when the rock warms up in the summer, pupils are regularly taken to some of the limestone crags of the Mendips, South Wales and South Devon or the granite Tors of Dartmoor.
