RECALL: Osprey recalls Poco child carriers

Osprey Child Safety Products LLC has recalled their Poco, Poco Plus, and Poco Premium child carriers due to a potential fall hazard. The recall was issued because the company determined that a child seated in the carrier can potentially slip through the leg openings and fall.
The following products are included in the recall:
Poco (in Romper Red, UPC 877257010768; Koala Grey, UPCÂ 877257012144; and Bouncing Blue, UPCÂ 877257010755)
Poco Plus (in Romper Red, UPCÂ 877257010744; Koala Grey, UPCÂ 877257012137; and Bouncing Blue, UPCÂ 877257010751)
Poco Premium (in Romper Red, UPCÂ 877257010720; Koala Grey, UPCÂ 877257012120; and Bouncing Blue, UPCÂ 877257010737)
The production numbers for the carriers are S12SBPR1, S12SBPR1B, S12SBPR2, S12SBPR3, S12SBPR4, F12SBPR1, F12SBPR2, S13SB IPO, S13SBPR1, S13SBPR2, S13SBPR3, S13SBPR4, F13SBPR1, F13SBPR2, F13SBPR3, S14SBPR1, S14SBPR2, S14SBPR3, S14SBPR4 and S14SBPR5. The model name is printed on the fabric of the lower front panel of the carrier. A tag that is sewn into the carrier?s lower compartment also shows the model name and serial number (each pack has an individual serial number to allow tracking). Osprey has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada, and four reports of falls (including two reports of injuries) in the United States.
Approximately 5,732 units of the affected products were sold in Canada and approximately 82,000 were sold in the United States between February 2012 to Dec...
