Review: 6 things moms will love about the Toyota Sienna
Having a baby comes with lots of big purchases?but none is bigger than choosing a vehicle to get your family from place to place safely. All of a sudden, that cute compact car seems awfully small when you?re packing in car seats, strollers, diaper bags and more. (Seriously: So. Much. Stuff.) I recently had the opportunity to test drive a Toyota Sienna for a week to see how it fits with our family of five. My kids are all still in car seats, so not only did I get to test out the features and performance of this minivan, I also got to see how well it fits three car seats along with all of the gear that comes along with having young kids. As with any vehicle, features vary by model, but there?s no shortage of family-friendly details that will make carting kids around that much easier. Here are six Toyota Sienna features that moms will love. Photo: Kate Allen
1. It seats up to eight
Heading to hockey practice or a playdate" Don’t worry, you?ll have room for everyone. The Toyota Sienna has two captain?s chairs in the first row, a three-seater bench in the third row, and a middle row with two captains chairs and an optional third seat in the middle. (There are also some seven-seat models.) Four of the seats have car seat anchors?two in the second row and two in the third?which means multiple options for car seat configuration. I really appreciated being able to put two car seats in the back row in this vehicle so that we could more easily get to that back row.
