Sport: Triathlon
Jonathan and Alistair Brownlee joined Bradford Grammar Junior School in 1998; Alistair in Year Six, and Jonny in Year Four. The school recognised the potential in each brother from an early age, both in their sporting achievements and academically, as can be seen in their school reports throughout the years.
In summer 2001, the Junior School headmaster wrote in Jonny?s report, ?Excellent ? an all-round performer. Well done Jonathan ? the swimming was superb!? Moving on to the senior school at Bradford Grammar, one of Alistair?s cross country reports read: ?Alistair has once again made an outstanding contribution to the club. His racing is inspirational!?
In the Sixth Form, Alistair received the following report: ?He has worked hard and thoroughly deserves to succeed at the highest level?. Jonny?s equally-glowing Sixth Form report read, ?As ever, Jonathan impresses all who come in contact with him. Well done!?
