Having adapted the best aspects of bricks-and-mortar schooling to the online environment back in 2016, My Online Schooling is pioneering the British online education space by offering a rich, inclusive and internationally-accessible British education where pupils are respected as individuals, enjoy learning and are empowered to thrive in the 21st Century.
Former humanities teacher Tom Crombie founded the online school with a vision to provide an outstanding British education to pupils across the globe. During his time teaching both in the UK and internationally, Crombie saw that while a quality, British education was valued worldwide, an increasing number of young people weren?t accessing the education they deserved via the standard ?bricks and mortar? route due to physical, emotional and/or mental barriers.
Over a decade teaching in schools exposed Tom to a diversity of different learners, all with their unique needs and optimal methods of learning. It was here that he came to understand that education truly isn?t one-size-fits all, and so set out to establish a more inclusive, progressive, 21st-century alternative that upheld the standards and opportunities offered by a quality, mainstream British school.
