Norwegian designer A. Andreassen has brought its sweet range of children’s ballet slippers to the UK with its launch in Harrods’ newly refurbished Children’s Nightwear room on the fourth floor
The woven footwear is inspired by the traditional paper heart ornaments Scandinavian children make at Christmas time. The heart becomes a simple but bold motif throughout the collection, reminding us of the warmth of home during winter time.
Each pair of slippers has a padded foot bed made from memory foam technology, moulding itself to the shape of the foot for maximum comfort. Available in a variety of colours and materials, from metallic leather to felt, all of which are responsibly sourced in Italy and made by family owned manufacturers in Portugal. There’s matching styles in women’s sizes, too.
