When it comes to breastfeeding a newborn at the hospital, fathers aren’t usually involved in the process too much. However, when this new dad’s wife wasn’t able to feed their baby after delivery, the nurses decided to let him have a go.
In a recent post submitted to Love What Matters, Maxamillian Neubauer explains how he ended up breastfeeding his daughter, RosalÃa. Now, we’re not talking about “chestfeeding,” which is totally a thing, too. Maxamillian’s wife, April, was recovering from an emergency C-section related to preeclampsia during her pregnancy, which meant that her blood pressure was super high. Because of this, she ended up having not one, but two seizures during delivery, leaving her unconscious and recovering once the baby was born.
