This mom gave birth in the ER?and you have to see the photos
Every birth comes with a story, but this mom has a particularly unique tale to tell.
Jes Hogan, a mom of five from Manhattan, Kansas, was set to deliver baby number six on July 2017, but she didn’t make it past the Emergency Room hallway. When Hogan’s water broke in the middle of the night, her husband rushed her to the hospital and they just barely made it into the ER before the baby started to arrive?while Hogan was still standing. Maxwell Alexander was born on the floor in the ER, less than five minutes after Hogan’s water broke at home.
What makes the story even more incredible is that a photographer was there to document the entire thing. Tammy Karin of Little Leaping Photography photographed the unbelievable delivery from the moment Hogan took her pants off because she felt the baby crowning to when the baby first entered the world.

Baby Maxwell was perfectly healthy, weighing in at six pounds, seven ounces.
