Homemade decorations
When it comes to creating beautiful, festive decorations for your home, school or workplace, the possibilities are endless! This is a great way to rouse a child’s creativity, and for something simple and quick, paper chains are the perfect place to start. All that’s required is some coloured paper, tape or staples, and glue, or you can even purchase paper chain kits with pre-cut strips of patterned paper. Add some festive sparkle by decorating it with sequins, glitter, stickers or glitter pens. Remember, at Christmas, there?s no such thing as “too sparkly”!

Try making a traditional decoration that not only looks festive but smells beautiful, too, with dried orange garlands.
