The French label’s Summer 2018 show was a highlight at Haute Couture Week 
The usually serious fashion crowd was a sea of smiles and spontaneous applause as Bonpoint sent its mini models skipping and dancing down the runway ? holding hands ? to a soundtrack that conjured up the energy and adventure of childhood.

As the hot sunshine blazed down in central Paris this week, the fashion world gathered for the much-anticipated Haute Couture Week. The midsummer heatwave was a fitting backdrop for the French fashion house’s presentation of its Summer 2018 collection ? the woozy heat and bright blue skies accentuated the neon pink, lemon yellow and the contrasting softness of the white broderie anglaise and romantic petticoat dresses.
There was something for everyone at the show, from retro pink and blue ginghams paired with white roller boots, to soft crochet tunics and timeless apron dresses with crossover straps ? not forgetting the Liberty prints and light toiles that Bonpoint always does so beautifully.

Artistic director Christine Innamorato sent the girls and boys out wearing delicate crowns of summer flowers or huge floppy hats covered in butterflies, with some going barefoot and others wearing golden leather sandals.
