Victoria’s Jenna Coleman: Before She was Famous
Victoria Actress Jenna Coleman plays the leading role in many of her on-screen parts. And it seems the same can be said of her in real life too
Jenna, 30, who is currently starring in ITV’s historical hit drama, Victoria, was head girl at independent Arnold School (now AKS Lytham), in Blackpool, from 2003?2004. She starred in many school productions and developed her love for drama while at the school. She left Arnold and took a gap year to pursue an acting career through drama school, even though she had already secured a place at university. Jenna received her first call for Emmerdale in 2005, playing the role of Jasmine Thomas in the long-running soap opera. In 2009, she joined BBC drama Waterloo Road as Lindsay James. She made her movie debut in Captain America: The First Avenger, in 2011. In 2012, Jenna landed the role of Doctor Who?s companion, Clara Oswald, and successfully played Clara until 2015 in the hugely popular BBC drama.
