1. Notting Hill Carnival
Notting Hill Carnival is the largest street festival in Europe. Sunday is traditionally family day, where you and your little ones can enjoy decorative floats, colourful costumes and masquerades, steel bands and plenty of loud music and delicious Caribbean food to sample along the way.
When:Â Sunday 28th & Monday 29th August. Sunday is children’s day and Monday is adults’ day. Bands take to the streets from 9am.

2. Children’s Cookery School at Foodies Festival
Children are young as two can take part in some of the fantastic cookery classes, which cover everything form party pinwheels to homemade butter. Classes are included in admission, on a first-come, first-served basis. When:Â Saturday 27th to Monday 29th August
How much: Adults, from £16; under-12s go free with a paying adult.

3. Impossible
Impossible returns to London this summer. The family-friendly show, which features some of the world’s greatest illusionists, will fuse death-defying stunts, grand illusions and close-up magic in a fast-paced performance.
