2. OnBlackheath Festival
London’s top family festival returns, this time featuring the Puffin World of Stories. Highlights include the storytelling stage, a talking maze and village-green sports day, and children can meet the likes of Spot the Dog, Peter Rabbit, The Clangers and more.

3. Ship Shape Saturdays: Ropes & Knots
Climb aboard HMS Belfast and learn how to become a member of the crew. Improve your rope and knot skills by trying out some of the famous knots used in the Navy, then tie your own ‘Money’s Fist’ keyring.
