1. The Great River Race 2016
Starting from London Docklands, The Great River Race attracts more than 300 crews and appeals to every level of competitor, from those in fun fancy dress to serious sportsmen and women. The best viewing points are Richmond Bridge and the South Bank.

2. The Imagination Station
It’s time for little ones to get their thinking caps on in the John Madejski Garden as they explore the connections between nature and structural design, and build a collaborative lightweight structure. When:Â Sunday, September 4th

3. Horniman Carnival
Parades, pop-up performances, Brazilian music, dance workshops and food close the museum’s season of Brazilian arts and culture. All the fun will take place in the garden.
