Netflix Canada has announced which new kids’ TV shows and movies it will be adding to its lineup in October 2018 and predictably, there’s lots of spooky Halloween content, with some superhero and Christmas movies thrown in for good measure (plus, Secret Life of Pets! And three seasons of Octonauts!).
Here’s the full list. But first, an important note: The age recommendations offered below are approximate. Every kid is different, and you’re the best judge of what’s appropriate and what your kid can handle.

The Secret Life of Pets
Best for: Ages 5+
