Former Cranleigh School Pupil Selected for Six Nations 2024 England Squad
Former Cranleigh School pupil, Oscar Beard, has been selected for the England men?s rugby Six Nations 2024 squad, which will commence at the start of February
During his time as a pupil at Cranleigh, Oscar Beard served as 1st  XV captain during the 2018/19 unbeaten season, which saw the school lift the Daily Mail Trophy (pictured). In 2016, he was a member of the unbeaten team and the runners-up in the Rosslyn Park Rugby Sevens Cup.
After leaving Cranleigh School in 2019, Oscar joined Harlequins along with fellow Old Cranleighans Will Collier, Dino Lamb, Will Trenholm, Hayden Hyde and Hugh Tizard (before moving to Saracens), Harry Barlow (before joining the military), and Charlie Piper. Throughout the last 12 months, Oscar has given numerous training sessions and motivational talks to current Cranleigh students.

If Oscar was to be capped, he would join Will Collier (England), Sammy Arnold (Ireland) and Dino Lamb (Italy) in playing full international rugby in the last six years, with Cranleigh also having Hayden Hyde, Will Trenholm and Jamie Barden all capped with England Sevens just two years ago.
When is the Six Nations 2024"
The Six Nations 2024 will start February 2nd, where last year’s winner France will compete against Ireland to kick off the championship in Marseille.
