George Heriot’s: Why This Scottish School Won Independent School of the Year 2021
George Heriot’s School was initially entered into the category ‘Co-educational School of the Year’ – for which it won – at our 2021 awards, but its remarkable entry secured the school to win the big title of ‘Independent School of the Year’ out of 700 other entrants.
George Heriot’s, located in Edinburgh, Scotland, was founded way back in 1628 by George Heriot himself – a Scottish goldsmith and philanthropist. The school has since gone on to become a multi-award winning educational establishment.
