The judges are pleased to announce the Finalists of the Independent Schools of the Year 2024 awards. Thank you to all schools for taking part and congratulations to not only the Finalists, but all schools that were Shortlisted in the awards.
The winners of each of the 24 categories in addition to the overall winner – Independent School of the Year – will be announced at an awards ceremony being held in London on Tuesday 8th October at 6pm.

The judges of the Independent Schools of the Year 2024 awards have been hugely impressed with the standard of entries from schools across the UK, and in all shapes and sizes: from small rural pre-preps to large city schools – along with a record number of nominations – they have found it harder than ever to reach a decision on which schools should reach the finalist stage. Further, the breadth and depth of the student experience being offered by independent schools across the sector is evident and successfully depicted in the 2024 entries: from new categories such as EdTech and school trips to more established ones such as sport, environmental activism and social mobility, schools are a shining example of best practice in education.
