King Edward’s Bath Kicks off Christmas with Christingle
King Edward’s School Bath has kicked off the Christmas season with their Christingle Service
Pupils at the Pre-Prep and Nursery at King Edward’s Bath school celebrated their Christingle Service at All Saints Church in Weston on 29th November. Always a very heart-warming start to the Christmas celebrations, Pre-Prep families gathered together for the Advent Service, as the children sang and performed poems to their parents and lit the Christingles together.
There?s lots to look forward to at the school in the run up to Christmas. Their Christmas Fair takes place tomorrow (2nd Dec), where over 40 stalls will be selling a wonderful range of gifts, from jewellery to artisan foods, to homeware and spa treatments. There?s also a Christmas “cracker” of a raffle and Father Christmas is even popping in to say hello! More to come
Other festive plans include the hugely popular Christmas jumper day, to help raise money for charity, not to mention the Senior Citizen Carol Concert at the Junior School, where local residents are invited into school for tea and a festive sing-song!
Without drawing breath, the Junior and School Choirs are also performing at the Bath Christmas Market, again to raise money for charity, and also join CitySound Voices as guest performers at their “Christmas Favourites” concert.
