Your chance to secure a place at the iconic St Ives School of Painting in Cornwall

St Ives School of Painting, established in 1938, provides quality, contemporary art tuition from its unique location above Porthmeor Beach in St Ives, Cornwall. With a team of over 30 contemporary artists and more than 100 courses to choose from, there  is something for everyone ? whether you?re a complete beginner or a practised artist. You can even take a bit of St Ives magic into your home, via their easy-to-access online art classes. 

This month we have teamed up with St Ives School of Painting to offer one lucky winner the chance to experience a four-day art course in their studios. With all materials provided, the course entitled ?Approaching Painting? runs from 28th October 2024. Taught by two expert artists, this course is for beginners or intermediate artists and provides a solid grounding in drawing and painting. The focus will be on how to enjoy the expressive qualities of paint rather than getting it right or wrong and you will learn simple dynamic approaches to build your confidence.? 
 Additionally, 10 runners-up will get £50 each to spend on a huge range of online art courses. This includes Artist Landmarks, a new series of live broadcasts where landscape painters share their techniques for capturing the inspirational Cornish landscape where you can transport yourself to Cornwall without leaving home.
