St Margaret?s School Grounds Transformed into Winter Wonderland for Annual Christmas Fair
Children enjoyed meeting ?Sven the Reindeer? while St Margaret’s School pupils performed traditional Christmas carols for the local community
Local pupils at independent day and boarding school in Bushey, St Margaret?s School, have been getting into the festive spirit this week with their fantastic annual Christmas Fair.
The fair, which saw members of the local community come together with the school?s local pupils and their families, included a range of glittering stalls ran by pupils, alumnae and local businesses selling handmade jewellery, artisan candles and crystals as well as handcrafted accessories such as handbags and recycled homewares.
Other festive activities on offer included gingerbread men decorating, face painting and in the spirit of recycling, there was also a pre-loved Christmas jumper sale. The St Margaret?s School choir also delivered a beautiful carol concert under its marquee, dressed in fairy lights and decorations, and performed many traditional favourites, such as Feliz Navidad and We Wish You a Merry Christmas, while a snow machine blasted a flurry of flakes into the air, creating quite the snowy spectacle.
Other pupils helped to keep everyone warm by making hot chocolates and with health and wellbeing being at the forefront of many people?s minds this season, the school?s year 11 pupils also ran a stall selling uplifting ?positivity boxes? to their local shoppers.
As well as providing a wonderful gift-hunting opportunity for local residents...
