Nanny Anita’s Summer Craft Ideas for Kids
Fishtail Friendship Bracelet
Friendship bracelets, although a golden oldie, goes down with all ages.  There are so many different ones that can be made and it?s such a lovely thing to be able to make for a friend or loved one.
You will need: 10 strands of coloured embroidery thread (about 25cms in length each)
Tie off the top of the friendship bracelet and tape it down to a solid surface.
Separate the strands so half are on one side and half are on the other side.
Start braiding the strands like you would if you were doing a fishtail hair braid.
When you have enough of a fishtail to go around the wrist stop and tie it of.
Tie it around the wrist and cut off any excess thread.

Water Pistol Spray Painting
I don?t know any kids who don’t love a water pistol and most houses have a few lying around.  This craft is so much fun and really brings out creative juices.  Ours turned out so well, we?re framing them!
