4 reasons your child might not yet be sleeping through the night

As an exhausted new parent, you know there's a glimmer of hope waiting down the line -- your child will sleep through the night at some point. With my twins, the first few months were rough. I felt like I would never get to that moment. The first night they both slept the entire night, I actually slept less because I was checking on them so much!
There are several reasons your child might not be sleeping as long as you?d like at night.
1. They aren't eating enough during the day. If your child gets in the habit of eating most of their food at night, they won?t want to eat as much during the day. One of my twins wanted to have 2-3 bottles overnight and never wanted to sleep through until we reversed that schedule. It was such a lifesaver! Once we removed the overnight feedings, she would eat so much more during the day. 2. Overstimulation. Some children don?t need all of the bells and whistles to fall asleep. If you have a light show, music playing, plus night lights and they?re not sleeping...that could be your culprit. Try removing stimulating items to figure out what your child likes best. It could be they actually want dark and quiet.
3. They're uncomfortable. Make sure your little one has a super-absorbent overnight diaper, like Pampers, to keep them dry. Did you know Pampers Baby-Dry Diapers offer up to 12 hours of protection" Such a help! Also make sure your baby's room isn't too warm -- most babies prefer a cooler temp...
