5 ways to keep your baby smiling

Brand-new smiles are the most delicious baby milestone ever. That first big grin is enough to melt away some of the new-motherhood chaos you might be experiencing, and make you feel like you're floating on air. It's love! True love!
My youngest, Liam, has a grin that can light up the room...as well as a scream that can be heard around the block. (I mean, LOOK at that smile!)
Keeping Liam happy isn?t always easy, but when we have figured out a few tricks that make our lives so much easier.
1. Sound and movement. Music and dancing always makes babies smile. We sing all sort of songs to Liam, from nursery rhymes to invented songs using Liam's name to '90s hip hop (gotta love some filtered Biggie!). Musical toys like maracas or drums are always fun, too. I use music time to get in some extra cuddles too, which can be hard now that he?s on the move. 2. A comfy bum. Nothing makes a baby crankier than diaper rash or irritation. We always use Aquaphor Baby 3in1 Diaper Rash Cream during all changes to help keep redness at bay. The gentle formula spreads on quickly and cleans up easily.
